A couple Sunday's ago, it was very warm, so that afternoon we went to the park for a picnic & played some catch with a baseball, & even brought the dog along with us. We all got some sun that day for sure. I think mommy got it the worst, my forehead was so red it felt like it was on fire. I'm glad to say that the red is all gone now!.
I got some real cute pics though

Izzy is in this phase right now, where everytime I try to take her picture she poses. But she pops her hip out to the side, so all my pics of her she is doing it. It is quite cute. She didn't exaggerate it here as bad as she normally does..

We thought it would be funny to get on the teeter totters. I'm pretty sure adults should never do that. It was funny, but very uncomfortable! Jared thought it would be funny to get me up in the air, & leave me there! The kids were laughing so hard at this.

Just some cute pictures of the kids. Again, Izzy with her hip popping.

Trip to laramie

A few weekends ago we took a trip to see Cami & Tyler
After a long trip there, with some very scary roads we finally made it. We took the kids swimming at the rec center. Which they loved, there was a structure in the water with a slide, a lazy river, & a very big & long slide. Izzy went up and down the slide about a hundred times, over and over and over. Pretty soon she was going down backwards & head first. After convincing Tyler he could go down the big slide, we hiked up the stairs, and he was an inch short & they wouldn't let him go. We were all very disappointed.

Then we went to Jared & I's favorite place to eat in laramie, Corona villiage, where we met Jared's brother Adam and Carla, the fiance.

Then for the best part, Cami & I left the kids home with the boys & went to get pedicures. Well 4 hours later we came home. It was great

Cami decided that even looking at our feet, you can tell we are related. SO whose feet are whose??

A couple months ago I saw a picture of Izzy where her hair was soo cute, after our little hair mishap.

So I mentioned to Jared how stinking cute her hair was, he says ya it was cute. I say we should cut it again. He immediately said no, & I went on and on about how cute it was, he got tired of me talking about it, so he said "do whatever you want." Which is his way of guilting me out of doing something. I didn't think much about it until, one day I woke up & looked at Izzy and said, "Let's cut your hair." A couple hours later we got her hair cut & walked into Daddy's office, like nothing was up. Boy was her dad not happy. I said "you told me I could do it." Whoops he forgot about that little part...... So now here is our cute little Izzy with a little bob with a slight A line. It turned out so cute.

After she climbed down out of the chair getting it cut, she put her hand on her hip & shook her finger and said to the lady " I am NOT cleaning that up." It was too funny.

What I've been doing

Do you ever get to the point where you are so busy, you don't know where to start? Well for the last couple months I have been so busy, I didn't know where to start, finish, or even what to do. I've been getting very frustrated because of this. I've been working quite a bit at our office, I run the office, the billing, the insurance problems etc. It tends to consume me, because as soon as I get home I remember something I haven't done, & it continues all night long, waking me up etc. & now Jared is coaching high school track, so he is even more busy. It seems the only thing I have time for when I get home for work is cooking, cleaning & laundry. I don't even have time to do that most of the time. Well Monday night, I said heck with the cleaning and the dishes, ,we'll eat on paper tomorrow. I said heck with the laundry, everyone had clean underwear, so we'll all live. So I sat down & made a TuTu, somthing I've wanted to make for a long time, & never did. & it turned out so cute & was so easy.
That same night I sad down & made these cute bow holders, in about 2 minutes. Somehow the pictures got turned upside down, & I can't quite figure out how to switch them. I just had all of Izzy's bows in a drawer, and they were getting smushed, so I made these to hang on the wall. Now the problem is, she see's them all day & wants to switch bows a billion times during the day. She is very particular on how her hair is done.

So that is just a little bit of what I've been up to this week, since I haven't done the cleaning!!

Tyler

I thought I would do an update on Tyler. He is excelling very well academically this year. He is reading very well, & got the highest score out of the entire Kindergarten on one of their standarized tests. He still has a hard time not talking, but we've learned that he never will learn to stop, so we've learned to deal with it. His teacher asked me the other day "Do you pump him full of sugar before you send him to school?" Of course she loves him, she just thinks it is quite funny that he can talk as much as he does.

He just got glasses. He doesn't have a hard time seeing, but he is so far sighted his eyes are working very hard to see. So with the help of these glasses, his eyes won't be working as hard, and they are hoping that it will correct his farsightedness in a couple years. If his eyes worked too hard for too long, it could damage his eyes permanently. He thinks they help him read, & we aren't going to tell him any different, so his reading has improved so much with these glasses.

He finally lost another tooth. It has been 1 year 4 months since he lost his last one. So he was very excited for the tooth fairy to come, & then the tooth fairy forgot to come the first night!! Whoops!

He also started wrestling this season, we thought he would be too tiny to wrestle, but he is actually really good. They had a couple meets with just the soda teams, & he did very well. Beat everyone he wrestled. Then there was a very big tournament here, where anyone from anywhere could come. We signed him up, not knowing what would happen. Some of these kids have been wrestling for years. Well he did very well! He pinned his first kid. Then he wrestled for the championship and the kid put his arm around his neck & choked him. Of course the ref pulled his arm off. But TYler did not like that. So he kind of was a little confused after that, and was worried the kid was going to choke him again. So he ended up getting beat at the very end. But he ended up taking 2nd place. Not bad for only wrestling for weeks!

He didn't care if he won or not, just that he got a medal. He doesn't look real happy in this picture because he was so upset the kid choked him.

Somehow, by accident I got a picture of the kid choking him. Whoops!

Izzy's New Room

About a year and half ago, I came up with an idea that I wanted to do for Izzy's room. I started working on different aspects of it, but never finished anything because we were renting. I had the vinyl cut about a year ago & was going to hang it up even though we were renting. Just as I got ready to hang it up, the possibility that we would be moving came about, so I didn't. Boy am I glad we didn't. Now I can do whatever I want to her room!!

This was what Izzy's room looked like before. With a lot of hard work peeling wall paper & texturing & painting, this is what her room looks like now.
We absolutely LOVE IT!! It turned out perfect. All Izzy cared about was that her room was pink, & I wanted the polka dots.
We got her a new bedding set, which I thought couldn't have matched more perfectly. I also am in the process of adding more pillows to match. Still working on them

This part of the wall now has the polka dots scatterd around as well. I took these pictures before I had it completely done. I also have white sheers to put up, but I painted the curtain rods, and they are turning out to be the biggest pain of the whole room!

I made these letters, about a year ago, & am so glad to have them completely finished and hung up now!

The toyota got hit AGAIN!

Ok so some people may not find this funny, but at our house this is funny. Our Toyota has had so many hit & runs it is rediculous. Well again last week, Jared was driving through the parking lot at the high school, & got hit again. But this time they didn't run....

Okay, so I got behind again. SO I'll be posting a bunch so keep checking back!

First of all, one of my favorite posts will be........I got a new dining room table set. And I LOVE IT!! It is perfect. I hadn't planned on going so fancy, but somehow I did. And its perfect for my house. It even matches my couches perfect, which is great since the room is the same! I haven't had a table in 6 years! And I've wanted one really bad for about 4 of those years. So am thrilled to have been able to get this set.
