Let me just apoligize for 90% of my pictures. I HATE MY CAMERA! Last year mine cheapy kodak, which was awesome, broke. So I bought a cheap Fuji, which i thought would be fine because it was 10 mp. But nope, its horrible. After Izzy's recital pictures weren't what i thought they were, I told Jared last night I wanted an SLR for christmas. He laughed, so I think that was a no.
So we headed to Vegas again this year for Jared's continuing education credits. We were able to spend several days there this year due to the fact we got really cheap airlines tickets and could only fly on certain days at certain times. I only knew of one thing that we were going to be doing. I figured it would be all that we would do. But when we got there, my husband surprised me with the whole trip planned. Every night after his classes, he surprised me with what we were doing. Of course I forgot my camera in my coat pocket, and left my coat in the car in salt lake. But that's okay, because you can't have your camera in anything that we did anyway.
The first night, which ended up being my favorite, was Terry Fator. He was the winner of America's Got Talent. It is not stop funny! My favorite was when he came out dressed like Michael Jackson, white glove and all!. If you ever have the chance to see him, I suggest do! Plus even though he has a $500 million contract, he is still down to earth. He stays after the show to sign autographs, and he helps the janitors clean up, because he used to be a janitor.
We stayed at the Luxor this year, in the pyramid. It was pretty cool walking down the hallway to get to our room, because it is open over the whole pyramid, and we were almost on the top floor. Everytime we'd walk by, we'd get dizzy! It was a long way down. We actually got to stay for free, due to the fact I'm cheap, and got conned into doing a time share tour. TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT!!! They told us to expect 2 hours. Well we check in and one place, wait and wait and wait for a shuttle. Then we get to the destination and wait and wait and wait for the presentation to start. And of course, none of the employees speak English very well. So we couldn't understand what our lady was saying. Then we have to sit through and hour presentation and then go on our tour. After this, we are not even remotely interested. It wasn't the nice one, trend west. It was a different one. And if we bought we'd have to go to Vegas to use it. Or if we wanted to trade we had to pay $200 everytime. So it was $40,000 plus $200 everytime we wanted to go on vacation. But of course they don't listen and go on and on and on. Bring managers over to try and convince us blah blah. No one would listen to us, when we said it wasn't even remotely something we would want. (the trend west one would have been harder to turn down.) So finally we escape and go get on the shuttle, and ....you guessed it. We waited some more! So by the time we got back to our hotel, we had been gone 4 hours!! So much for the expect 2 hours! All that for a free hotel room for 3 nights!

We also went to the BODIES exhibit. I had always wanted to go, but wasn't too sure if I could do it. But I made it! And it was soo cool!

We also got to go to Bill Engvall, up until this trip he was our favorite comedian! I think Terry Fator surpassed him!

We also went to Blue Man Group. It was....weird. I don't quite get it exactly because there is no talking. So a lot of time they are just looking at each other and looking around. But when they were actuallu doing something it was awesome. Then at the end they unroll hundreds or rolls of toilet paper all over the audience, it was pretty funny.
One night we went to the Tournament of Kings. I wasn't too sure what to expect but I just new I wanted to go. It was actually really good. You eat dinner while the "show" is on. And because of the time period they are trying to portray, no silverware. But it was great. Except for when one time, the horse ran by and kicked dirt up all over us and everything! (we had front row seats). They do a lot of sword fighting and jousting, and it is not acting. THey actually do it. Of course it is all coreographed so no one gets hurt. But those men are very talented. I now no where all the boys who refused to cut their long hair off in the 80's went. They are in tournament of kings.
Our last day, we had nothing to do but wait for our 9 pm flight. So we took the bus downtown to Fremont st. to see what was down there. Then we took the bus back, and the 20 minute trip took us an hour and half. So we missed a show because of it, but thank goodness they refunded our money. Then our airport shuttle forgot to come and get us, so we waited and hour for them. Then we had just gotten past security at the airport and I got a phone call from Southwest saying our flight had been delayed....So we finally get to Salt Lake, and I call our hotel where we parked our vehicle at and they were supposed to come get us. Well 30 minutes later, no shuttle. So after a big pain in the butt, they hire a "shuttle" company to come get us. I say "shuttle" very lightly. It was more like a man with his piece of crap SUV. He pulled out pliers to open the door. So by the time we got back to our vehicle it was 1 AM. Then by the time we got to Wyoming to pick up our kids, it was 3 AM. We got a couple hours of sleep and had to head back to Soda, because Jared had patients scheduled.
Excluding the last 36 hours of the trip, it was a great vacation!
Temple Square
On our way to the aiport, we stopped at temple square! It was soo cold! So we had the kids bundled up pretty good, so you can barely see their faces in most of my pictures.

This is my favorite part of all the lights and displays. The floating Mary & Joseph with all the lights floating in the water as well.

I'm a little bunny....
I know I know, I'm wayyy behind on my blog, and hopefully, eventually I may get this caught up.
But First of all, I have to share...Isabella had her first dance recital tonight. They did a little bunny dance, and she was soo stinkin cute!!
I had been preparing her that she wouldn't be where her normal dance class was, that she would be on stage. So when we sat down in the auditorium, so told all the people around us that she was going to go on stage! I don't even think she knew what that meant! She marched right out on that stage like she knew exactly what to do.
I didn't get very many good pictures because there were soo many people there! And in regular dance class, they have pieces of tape on the floor where they are supposed to stand, and on the stage they didn't have those. So the girls kept looking down to the floor. It was so cute when they did their little dance. Doesn't seem like she should be old enough to be in a dance recital.
