We celebrated Jared's 30th birthday this weekend. I held a surprise party for him Friday night. The plan was to have everything & everybody ready, so he would come home, I would bring him on the deck & SURPRISE! I had everyone park around the corner so he wouldn't see any of the cars. Well for the 1st time since we've lived here, he decided to come home the back way, so he drove right past all the cars & saw all the people in the backyard! OHH!!!! I was frustrated we didn't get to surprise him like I wanted to, but he was still surprised, he had know idea. All of his grandparents were there, which was very special, as well as his parents and two sisters, and my mom. We had some friend there too of course.
We had a campfire, roasted marshmellows, had some yummy salads & yummy rolls! Instead of a cake, because if was too hard to hide, I did rice crispy treats, and stuck all 30 candles in it and mad him blow em out! The old man even did it, in one breath! & throughout the whole thing I managed to get 0 pictures!
The next day we drove up to Bear Lake & went to Minatonka caves, which I did get pictures of, so I will post those later.

Class of 2021
A few weeks ago Tyler graduated!! From Kindergarten that is. It had to have been the cutest thing I've ever seen. They all had real caps (with a tassel) & gowns on. They called the child's name & they would walk across the stage to get their diploma from the principal. Just like a real graduation. Then at the end they announced "The Class of 2021!"
This is him getting his diploma & attendance award from the principal
This is Tyler & his teacher Mrs. Hendricks, she has been such a blessing to us this year. She loved all her kids, and Tyler excelled very well with her.

I was informed this weekend by one of my aunts how behind I was on my blogging. So I gotta start somewhere.
I put some finishing touches on some rooms in my house, that I am really excited about. Of course the pictures don't show how wonderful everything turned out.
I switched some curtains around in my house & put the ones from downstairs upstairs, and they turned out perfect.

On my post about Izzy's room the pictures I had, didn't have the dots around the top of the room, so here are the pictures from that. I still am in love with her room!
I also wanted to cover my new table so it didn't get scratched or anything, and it turned out like this. Which again I love it!! And hopefully I will have a picture of the china hutch that goes with it soon! I had a yard sale last weekend, and sold my other cupboard I had holding my china. Hoping that if I sold it my husband would take the hint & buy me the new one since I have a birthday & anniversary coming up!
