More Projects

So I started working on more projects. This was my little china cabinet from when I was little. Izzy has all her kitchen stuff in it and on it. I remember loving it as a child, and Izzy loves it as well. So I decided it needed some tweeking & we all would love it better.

The After Pics! I think it turned out really cute!

I can't decide if I put too many poka dots on it or not. This pic has less, I am trying to decide if its better.

A few months ago our friends Adam and Debbie finished adoption papers with LDS family services. And they are just waiting for that special call to get them a baby. I have added a button on the side of my blog, so that you can click on it and directly go to their adoption page. So if you have a blog, please post this on your blog, so that more people can see their family. And maybe they can get a baby!! Often, in adoptions, the birthmoms find a family to place their baby with through friends and family who know someone who knows someone who is trying to adopt.

You have to go to Adam and Debbie's blog and get the html code to be able to put in on your blog. Click on the red name at the top to go to their blog.

I recently inherited a dresser that was my mom and dads, probaby from the 70's. It was really ugly, had those big tacky gold handles. But is a really nice dresser with big drawers. Izzy hasn't really ever had a dresser or at least one that was meant to be a dresser. So this week while Jared spent 28 hours in the car to go see the Fiest Bowl, I spent my time refinishing this dresser.

These are the before shots, of course you can't get the whole effect without seeing the gold handles. But I forgot to take before pics until I had them all taken off and had started sanding.

The After pics: I think it turned out perfect! I love how it looks, she has a ton of room now.

I had to show what it looks like up against her cute walls! I think it looks even better!

I somehow didn't get very many pictures of my kids christmas morning. Tyler this year, all he wanted was a remote control fork lift. The Soda Springs Santa each time he sat on him, remembered that he was the one that wanted the fork lift. Probably because he was the only kid out there who wanted suck a thing! Izzy, all she would say she wanted was Sorry Sliders, just a version of Sorry.

Sittin on Santa at the ward party. Izzy was so funny, she went to see Santa once before while visiting Grandma and she wouldn't sit on his lap. Which is strange for her, my kids are pretty friendly. So TYler told her one day that she wouldn't get Sorry Sliders if she didn't sit on his lap and tell him. So at the ward party, she was bound and determined to sit on his lap. But it was hilarious because she tipped her head back as to stay as far away from him as possible. She wouldn't even look at me for the picture, I guess she was afraid he might try something if she took her eyes off of him.

I realized that I never posted pics of Halloween.. And I just had to post pics of the costumes! Izzy was a flamingo made my yours truly! I am very proud of it. And Tyler, of course, was Dennis Anderson a.k.a Grave Digger's Driver. My guess is that not many other 7 year olds out there would know who Dennis Anderson is. He was frustrated all night long, because people kept saying he was a snow machiner.

I love my little mobster! We found this hat at the costume store, and he put it on and we had to get it for him. Conveniently, he already at the "zoot suit". He pulled it off quite well I think.

Izzy's Bday

I'm a month and a half behind, but...Our little Izzy turned 4! We can't believe our baby is so grown up. She got to have her first birthday party! 7 3 & 4 year olds was a bit, crazy but she had so much fun! She actually got to celebrate 4 days. Grandma and Grandpa Carwash came on Friday to bring her her present, her cleaning cart. Then saturday was her birthday party, and then came Sunday her actual birthday. Then when Grandma, Papa & Baby jaxson came, she got to celebrate again, by opening up her barbie bike from Grandma & Papa. It actually has a barbie bike attached to the handles bars so her barbie can ride along.
