My new hair!

My little sister was here last weekend and cut my hair. I love it so much I had to post it on here. Plus she styled it the day these pictures were taken, and I'm not sure if it will ever look like that again. It made me feel so young!!!

Sleep

I've been noticing sleep a lot lately. Maybe because I am so thankful my kids go to bed so easily and rarely with a fight. I've been watching everyone in my house sleep lately, a new obsession I guess.

Last week I came home from work and this is what I found in my bed! All 3 of them sound asleep in my bed. It was cute and a nice surprise.

Last weekend my mom came to see us and brought a bunch of dolls and stuffed animals that were mine when I was young. My kids have become quite attached to them. I went into to Bella's room the other night to watch her sleep, and I found a doll and a stuffed animal nicely laid on her pillow and her crunched on the side, with no pillow. She was asleep with a smile on her face too! I was just too cute to not take a picture of.

This happened a few weeks ago, but I am slow on my postings.

The kids wanted to ride their sleds, but the dog wanted to play. And our dog is extremely energentic! So I hooked the sled up to the dog, and the dog when wild running all over the yard pulling the kids. I don't remember the last time I laughed that hard, as both the kids were giggling hysterically also. The dog was going all over the yard weaving in and out of bushes and trees and under the tramp and around etc. It was sure a great way to harness is energy without him jumping the fence and running away (which he likes to do.)

Ice Skating

Our schedules have been very busy lately. Jared and I seem to never be home at the same time. So last week, we both happened to be home at the same time, so we jumped at the opportunity to spend some time together as a family. So we went ice skating. I haven't ice skated in years, so I was a little nervous as to which bone I WOULD break. (I say would, because as most of you know, I'm a little clumsy).

They had buckets for the kids to push around (well and Jared too, he wasn't real sturdy), so they were able to skate themselves and balance them selves.

By the end of the time Tyler was getting pretty brave and stopped using the bucket. He had some good falls, but no one broke anything!

Jared would push Izzy around on the bucket and she would sqeal and go WE WE WE!! Fast! Fast! Fast! The whole time. She thought it was great fun.

Let is Snow!!

We were so excited last week when we got a ton of snow!! Its been many years since we've lived anywhere where there has been snow, we are loving it, however we are not loving the heating bill.

The kids are having a blast, Tyler gets up and goes outside to play in it until it is time for school, then after school he goes out again until dinner. So we bought them a sled, and they are having a blast on it. I was finally able to get some pictures of them playing, (after most of it had melted).

Girly Girl

Well, I think its inevitable, our baby girl is becoming a high maintenance girly girl, in other words, she is turning into her Aunt Cami!!! Lately she has insisted on putting on make up everyday. She always wants her hair done. Then yesterday she threw a fit until, she had her hair and make up done, she had to have earrings in, and a bracelet. Then she goes around to every person and goes "cute, huh?" But I do have to say she really is pretty stinking cute!

Grandma & Grandpa Carwash

The weekend after christmas, Grandma and Grandpa Carwash, and Jessie & Katie came to see us. Then it was like christmas all over again for the kids, they brought presents for the kids from some over their aunts. For those of you that don't know, about 2 years ago, Tyler started calling Jared's parents Grandma & Grandpa Carwash, because Jared's dad built an automatic carwash. We think that it is just way too cute, so its kind of stuck. Of coure Bella can't say that so she was calling him Pa, it was way too cute. And everynight at bed, Bella would cry at Grandma "my spot, my spot" because she was in her bed, so then she had to sleep with Bella in her bed, although I don't think there was much sleeping going on with Bella in there.

Also, Grandpa Carwash fell asleep in the chair on Sunday and was snoring so loud, we were all laughing so hard. So I got the camera out and recorded all the funny sounds. I told him I was going to put it on my blog, so I am really going to do it, if I can figure out how! You can't hear it as loud as he was snoring, but it sure was funny.

Our Christmas

I am way behind on christmas postings, but better late than never.

A few days before christmas, we braved the mall and took the kids to see Santa. After an hour of waiting in line, we had some very happy children. They were both so cute with him. Bella doesn't understand, but she just saw everyone else being excited, so she was.

This year was a bit different for us this year, it is the first time we have not gone home to Wyoming, it seemed kind of weird. Christmas eve night, Jared's cousin Trevor and his family came over. We played games, and all the kids had a blast. After they left the kids opened their christmas eve jammies ( a favorite tradition of mine growing up)

Christmas morning Isabella decided for some reason that she was going to get up at 5:00. I have no idea why, but she was wide awake and ready to go for the day. I had to trap her in our room so she didn't go downstairs, and so she didn't wake up Tyler. I had to convince her it was okay to eat her breakfast in our room, because that is a big no no at our house. Finally at 8:30 Tyler finally woke up and we were able to go downstairs. I was a bit nervous about what Tyler's reaction was going to be because every time we asked him was he wanted from Santa, it changed. All except for one item, a 4-wheeler just like PaPa's. I didn't want him to be disappointed, but he wasn't. Everything he saw he said "Santa new just what I wanted." It was great. Isabella didn't want to move on to her next present. After she opened one, she wanted to keep playing with it, so it took her a long time to open presents.
Then after everyone got ready, we decided we would go to a movie. So we went to Alvin and Chipmunks, which was hilarious, both the kids were laughing the entire time. It was a very funny movie, and so cute. We figured we'd be one of the only weird people in this city going to a movie on Chritmas, but the theater was packed! We had to wait in line to get tickets for 15 minutes. I have never seen so many people at a movie theater before. I think that this will be a new christmas tradition for us, we are going to go to a movie on Christmas day.
After the movie we went to my cousin Jodi's house for dinner. The kids had a ton of fun playing and we had a wonderful dinner and played games. All in all it a was a very merry Christmas. We enjoyed spending time with our little family. Then the next day it was back to work as usual. Even the christmas decorations came down.

Jared's new look!

I know I'm way behind on all my holiday posting, and I should have been doing that instead of wasting time, but I got this new photo program from my in-laws. Tyler and I worked on this photo and laughed and laughed at it. Tyler could barely contain himself until his dad got home to show him. I'm sure its not as funny as we think it is, but it was sure fun putting girly hair on daddy, and funny beards, and earrings! We thought we'd be nice and settle for this. Tyler thought he looked like a pirate.

Just Pictures

I just had some pictures that no one had seen so I thought I would post them.

.

Isabella turns 2!!

Well, it happened, our baby is no longer a baby! Isabella turned 2 on Thanksgiving day. We had a very busy day. Grandma and Papa and Aunt Cami & Uncle Tyler all came for the big day. She was so excited for all her presents. She got a Kitchen that talks and helps her learn words, and the favorite present...the 4-wheeler from Grandma and papa, along with a ton of other presents people spoiled her with. She loved when we sang happy birthday to her and she loved to blow out her candle. We all clapped, and she loved that so much we had to light the candle again.

The Tooth Fairy can come!!!

Well the tooth fairy was able to come to our house this month. Tyler had a loose tooth for a very long time. He was soo excited he kept wiggling it and wiggling it, but we thought he was too young so we didn't pull it. Then he walked up to me and said look what I can do mom, as he moved his tooth all the way forward and all the way backward with his tongue. So Daddy got the pliers and we were supposed to take a picture while Daddy "pretend" to pull the tooth because Tyler was scared. But when I got done taking the pictures of pretending to pull the tooth, Jared held up the tooth. Tyler didn't even feel it! He was soo thrilled to loose a tooth and for the tooth fairy to come! Within a week his permanent tooth already had come up, so I guess he wasn't too young to lose a tooth.

Halloween...Finally

Its a little late, but I finally downloaded halloween pictures off of the camera. The kids really enjoyed dressing up. We were able to go to a trunk or treat at Tyler's school the friday before. Bella didn't quite understand what was going on, why she was going up to strangers and they were giving her candy. It didn't take long before she would walk up to them and say her version of "trick treat thank you" all in one breath. It was adorable. Then on halloween we were able to go around our neighborhood trick or treating. Not very many people opened their doors, but the kids had a lot of fun.

Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Last week we went to the Corn maze and Pumpkin patch for FHE. The kids both had a blast. Their favorite was the bucking cow train, pulled by a tractor. As the tractor pulled it, each cow make a little buck, the kids thought it was hilarious. Tyler had to ride this over and over again.

The corn maze this year was a Pirate ship. We did pretty good and didn't get lost too bad. I don't think that the kids understood this one too well. Tyler didn't understand that we were inside the pirate ship. He just kept asking when we were going to see the pirate ship. He understood a little bit better when he got to go up high by the pirate flag and look around. Isabella was holding a map and she would look at it and then say "this way" for every turn. She really thought she was telling us where to go. It was so cute.

We also got to go on a tractor hay ride. But Isabella got distracted when she could see all the pumkins in the patch. The whole hay ride she just kept saying "Pun Puns" Pun Puns" (her version of pumkins). & All tyler could talk about was going on the cow train again!

Then finally here are just some cute pictures from our fun day!
